Different books, different flavours!

Ms Madihah talked about books with different genres. Genre means a style, a type or a category of writing. It includes horror, romance, comedy and thriller. What are the genres that you like?

The books can be divided into 2, which are fiction and non-fiction. Fiction is something that comes from imagination. Non fiction refers to facts. Look at the differences between them here:

Do you know which book is a fiction, and which book which is not a fiction? Try out this game:

Protect ourselves!

According to the Ministry of Health, children between the age of 7 to 17 are most likely to get Covid-19. Everyone, including you, your family and the community must help each other to avoid this. As a child, what can you do?

1. Stay at home. Let the adults do the shopping.

Sometimes, you just want to buy some chips and drinks. Just ask your parents if they can buy them for you. You can also order them online.

2. Don't go to your friend's house. Don't invite them to your house too!

By this time, you must already be missing your friend. You might sound like a bad person, but this is for you and your friend's future. Make video calls (or just text them) and ask them if they are okay.

3. If you really have to go out, wear your masks!

Sometimes, you just have to go out. Maybe you caught a cold and have to visit the clinic. Maybe you have to take a vaccine jab. Or maybe you have to follow your parents because nobody is taking care of you at home. Just wear your mask and keep your distance.

I hope these tips can help you. Stay safe! #kitajagakita
