Omelette is a dish of beaten eggs cooked in a frying pan. Sometimes, we add something into the omelette. Look at the pictures:

Some even make omelettes with rice. In Japan, it's called the omurice.

We will:
When we want to describe* something that we see, we can start our sentences with There is or There are. These phrases respond to questions such as

*describe = menerangkan
We use There is if we see only one object. We also use There is if we can't count the object.
We use There are if we see more than one object.
Now, let's try this exercise by lovetolearn22:
We will:
1) Differentiate between countable and uncountable nouns
2) Use a, an and some correctly.
What are nouns? Nouns are names. It can be a proper noun (Fitri, Ferrari) or a common noun (boy, car, school).
Nouns can be singular (only one name) or plural (more than one). If there's more than one person or object, we add -s at the end of the word. For example:

However, some nouns cannot be counted. Can you count:
sugar?

The nouns that can't be counted are called the uncountable nouns. Since we cannot count them, we have a different rule to describe them:

*I did not put s after the word salt because I can't count it.
Okay, now we use these phrases to describe the food. It will look like this:
1. There is a carrot. (a is for one)
*If the letter starts with a, e, i, o, u, we use an instead.
For example: There is an orange.
2. There are 3 carrots. (I can count them)
3. There is some sugar. (I use some instead of number)

Previously, we got to know about Sue's house. This time, we are going to write about our own home. We will write sentences in a paragraph.
Now, look at the sentences here. Which of these two gives you more information about the house?

The answer is number 2. We know that the colour of the house is pink. Pink is an adjective.
We use adjective to describe a noun. Example of adjectives are colour and size.

1. That is a big mirror. 2. The yellow dress is mine. |
Now, back to our sentences. We also use prepositions to make the sentence more informative. For example:

1. I live in a pink house next to the river. 2. My Nike shoes are in the box. |
