Neighbourhood Map.

Students of 3 Bestari, 3 Dinamik and 3 Impian had to come up with their own map. The map was inspired by GoogleMap. Students had to mark their home on the correct street. Some of the students pointed out our school and the mosque.

Lost and Found

Students of 4 Year 3 classes were given the opportunity to listen to an interactive storytelling. The story was based on a famous book "Lost and Found" by Oliver Jeffers. It was the conclusion to our Topic 1 of the textbook.

Letters received.

Students of 3 Harapan had received their letters. All letters were sent last month. Hopefully, by the end of next week all students will be getting their letters. If you don't get your letters, it may be caused by technical errors.

I'm coming home

Yesterday students of 3 Impian and 3 Dinamik sang an adaptation of the song "I'm Coming Home". This was in line with the Year 3 topic "Home Sweet Home". The lyrics had been changed to suit the topic and the students' proficiency. Let's see how 3 Dinamik sing it!

3 Harapan also sang in their own ways. Despite the heavy rain, they were able to sing loud and clear!

Can you try and sing it too?

Sending messages across.

Last week, more than 100 letters were sent by the Year 3 students. The letters would be sent to their 'friends' which were unknown to them. If the address is written properly, the letters should be able to reach the students' home within a week. Each student needed to paste a 60 cent stamp on their envelope to ensure that the postman did not get angry! This is a format of writing a simple letter to a friend:

The letters were then sent to the post box. If you are living in Kuala Lumpur or Ampang, you should put your letter into "Kuala Lumpur sahaja".

Rainy day with little ones

Today, SKTBI was blessed with a rainy day in the evening. Despite the heavy rain, the transition programme for Year 1 was still going on. There were many exciting activities planned for the children. Congratulations to the Year 1 teachers for the effort!

Songs for Year 1

Last week, the Year 1 students were introduced to various songs such as Negaraku and the school song. Each student was given a handout of the songs they were about to learn. They were really focused in trying to memorize the lyrics.

What is your vision?

Students of 3 Harapan were given the opportunity to give a list of visions for their class in 2012. Some of the vision is appropriate and creative. In order to achieve the visions, some rules had to be followed.
