District Level Action Song 2012
Today, some of our students were sent to SK Bukit Rahman Putra for District Level Action Song Competition. The venue was the same as last year. This year, 19 schools participated and we had about only 2 weeks to prepare our students. Despite this, every school did a wonderful job and everyone was having a good time. The host school described all schools as winners. Even though our students did not win the competition, they were amazing on stage, too! We would like to congratulate SK Bandar...

Action Song Year 1 Performance
Yesterday, Year 1 students were involved in the Action Song competition, which was the biggest event of the English Language Month (ELMO12) for Level 1 students. Before the Action Song began, the Year 3 students were involved in a crossword puzzle.

ELMO12: Year 4 NiE activity
Year 4 students from 4 Bestari to 4 Dinamik were engaged in an exciting NiE activity. The students were actively cutting and pasting pictures using the newspaper. This activity was done to stimulate student's interest in reading the newspaper.

What is Blogbuster?
This blog is currently being evaluated based on 'Blogbuster'.
But, what is Blogbuster?
Blogbuster is a concept where students are engaged in a lesson both in the classroom and in the virtual world. Students will provide scaffold for their weaker peers so that everyone will be able to be at the top together. NiE Templates
Hi,
The NiE templates will be out on 13th of April (Friday). All you have to do once you have the paper:
1. Do a cover page
2. Start working on your content!
3. Make sure it is about 300 words
The theme of this year's competition is "Why English?". So, you can write about anything related to English language, for example: Your experience in English Classroom, the history of English, how do you use English everyday, English and Technology etc.
Tips:
1. You can divide your work so that it would be easy to get 300 words (1 person does 60 words)

My Travel Journal: Movie Magic at Universal Studios – Feb 2012
Last month, my family and I went to the Universal Studios, Singapore (USS). USS has many themed zones based on famous movies like Shrek, Madagascar, Jurassic Park and many more. My favourite is the ‘Far, Far Away’ zone which has a huge castle like the kingdom in Shrek the movie. My brother’s favourite is the Jurassic Park. We had so much fun taking photos with the famous characters like Puss in Boots, King Julien, Alex the Lion and many others. I also love the ‘Hollywood...
