This blog will display work of Students from Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Indah. We hope that you enjoy reading and watching our creative articles and exciting activities, in English!
This is a three-part lesson. This is the first session. At the end of all sessions, we will:
1. Read and write about one's family with guidance.
2. Use capital letters and full stops correctly.
Look at the photo above. What colour are the baby's eyes? They are blue. What does the lady have? She has got a yellow flower. So, What is this photo about? It's about a family.
This week we are going to talk about families. You may refer to your GetSmart Plus 3 Student's book page 11, and the notes provided to you. Read or watch the video below.
Let's answer the question by playing the audio below. You may pause every time you listen to each question (The answer is given right after the question).

Look at the GetSmart Student's book page 10. There's a game where you can play with your family. If you happened to have learned about telling time, you can try this out. You can use crumpled paper or even small objects like rubbers and coins! Let's look at how it's played:
Just throw the object on one of the pictures! To make it more interesting, you can have a scoreboard and jot down the marks of each correct answer.
You can also photocopy the page so that you don't have to worry about folding the book. Download here if you wish to have it as an independent sheet.
