Stressed at home? Too many homework to be finished? The pandemic may affect us in the way we do our daily routine. Here's some of the tips that would hopefully help you out:
1. Set a goal
What do you want to achieve today? Do you want to complete your Math homework? Or help cook for dinner? Set a goal, but don't try to put too much things to be done! Just put around 3-5 activities for a day.
2. Organise yourself
Some of you may have done this, but it is good to have a simple timetable to keep you focused. Have a simple morning, afternoon and evening routine. You may discuss with your parents on what you will be doing throughout the week. Plan ahead.
3.Take a break!
Too many tasks at hand? Take a break once in a while. Watch your latest cartoon episodes or play a little game. Just make sure that you don't take it too long!
4. Exercise
Even though you can't go outside to play, you can still do exercises at home. Stretch up a bit, or just do a simple warm up. If you can't do it at home, go for a jog! Make sure you follow the SOP.
5. Reward yourself
If you have completed your goals, reward yourself with some snacks or free time! Negotiate with your parents, but don't do this always. It is just something to keep you motivated. Maybe you can get them after a few days of completing your goals.
6. Keep in touch
Always talk to your family and friends, especially if you are having problems. Spend more time with your family and do activities with them. This will create a bond between the both of you.
